IIIIIIT’S PROM WEEK!!!
Wednesday night we kicked off the 2015 season at the elegant Imperial Hotel in Torquay. When Proms week gets going you can’t miss it! Never before have you seen so many gorgeous gowns in one place and Torquay Grammar School did themselves proud.
All the young ladies and gentlemen received the red carpet treatment at the Imperial with a DJ , a buffet, a slush machine, hundreds of cupcakes and a photobooth! No prizes for guessing who might have been the busiest! Torquay’s finest loved every minute of their 5 hours of photobooth action. Nice to be popular. And a mention going out to the cupcakes from www.craftyCakes.com (twitter: @CraftyCakesSW) because they were delicious!
Tomorrow, we head off to Falmouth for Penryn College’s prom night!
Looking good Penryn!
Next! Thursday night, well into 2015 Prom season, we found ourselves at Merchants Manor in Falmouth for Prom night no 2. As the evening got going we watched all the limos and vintage cars turn up at the hotel dropping off the teenage party people – all of them looking stunning in their beautiful gowns and suits.
From the moment they arrived till the end of the prom, the night was recorded in every shape & form from proud family photographs to photobooth action. All night long the girls & boys of Penryn College queued and queued to get into the booth – the pictures were fantastic – as were they!
Thank you Ross for booking us for last night! Shame we couldn’t get you in the photobooth 🙂
ps we set up early for the prom which gave us a load of time to wander round seaside spot Falmouth. Never having been there, we were completely shocked! We like our food (who doesn’t??) and could choose between African, Spanish, Mexican, Thai, Caribbean and good old fashioned seafood. We went for Thai and devoured our tea at this little restaurant in Quay Street called PloyThai Unbelievable menu (not just because of the lovely food) actual thai scenes carved out of wood! Everything was carved (even the food!) – the place was magical – even if the carved wooden chairs were too heavy to move! Try it out if you’re in this neck of the woods – you won’t be disappointed! 🙂 xx
