‘Cheesing it up’ photo booth-style at Gary & Karen’s elegant 40th birthday bash!

Karen and Gary

Picture: Our totally fabulous hosts Gary & Karen Bull.

Wooowee!! What a night Saturday turned out to be for the Yellowbooth patrol!

We took ourselves (and the booth!) to a gorgeous venue called The Mill@Rode near Frome in rural Somerset.

Karen and Gary Bull booked us to provide some ‘CHEESE’ (Karen’s words) to their birthday party night which we were not only gladly but proudly able to do, in abundance!

The revellers seemed to enjoy the photo booth – proper boothies – as the only time when they weren’t working the camera was when the shout for the buffet went out! I couldn’t blame them there judging by the looks of the goodies on offer including the brilliant half jeep/ half pink limousine birthday cake … something for everyone there!

In our line of work, we are fortunate to get to meet many great people and Karen & Gary’s party people were right up there! Such a lovely bunch of people. We were so chuffed the birthday couple picked Yellowbooth to cover their party – and we enjoyed ourselves so much that we’d do it all over again in a heartbeat!!

Christmassy goings-on afoot in Torquay!

Hennessys santas

Last night Laurence and I took our glossy black photo booth to the esplanades of stunning Torquay for the busy Winter Ball at Hennessy’s Restaurant.

A great location for a christmas party, our venue overlooked the marina at Torquay harbour. A win-win situation for us yellowboothers as once the booth was built and ready to go, we had some free time to take in all the sights and to get to know some of the staff!

What a mad, mad night with over 700 photos taken… in a brilliant cause with all the proceeds going to the very worthwhile charity, the Torbay Hospital League of Friends.

A non-alcoholic event this might have been, but spirits were still high as our 16 to 18 year olds – all tuxed-up and glam –  just couldn’t seem to get enough of the booth.

(Psssst! Now for the scientific bit … the high quality photos taken last night were achieved introducing our new ‘glamour-izing’ photographic flash system.)

Thank you so much  Jade (Clarke),  for booking Yellowbooth for the night! We were glad to be there with you!

Jingling the Leicester Square bells – all the way!

Merry Christmas one and all, from the Yellowboothers!

dp9

T’is the season to be jolly absolutely – as we found out when we took our black superbooth to Leicester Square for a lively works Christmas party to the swanky Ruby Blue bar in London yesterday.

A huge thanks to our host Natasha and the people at DP9 for booking us for your party! We’re glad you enjoyed yourselves in the booth and that you enjoyed our fancy dress goodies – remember, it’s not so much what it is, it’s about how you wear it! All photos can be found at our yellowboothphotos page, just follow this link  http://on.fb.me/1ex6vo3

A big thanks also, to all the hard working waiters and waitresses at the party venue for making us feel like part of the team! Have a great christmas and a fab new year! from us, the Yellowboothers, Laurence and Caz!

Sexey’s School Christmas Party goes off with a bang!

Sexeys

When Yellowbooth get the call to attend a christmas party – we don’t hang about – especially when told to attend “one of the most outstanding schools in the country” Right Hon Michael Gove MP.

The staff and pupils of Sexey’s School took to photo boothing like a duck to water! It was an epic night with in excess of 600 photos taken through the night. Everyone there will see their pics on our Facebook page Yellowboothphotos.

Greeted by the lovely party organiser Miss Rachel Davies, and shown to the old 19th century school hall – we gazed at the climbing frames and ropes in awe – remembering PE and previous unsuccessful attempts at shinning up the ropes.

There were a lot of balloons at the start of the night – and not surprisingly, not too many by the end of it! Everyone would jump as another balloon received some boot action and popped! Lucky for us, we don’t have a dicky heart as you just don’t get used to the gun-shot sound that a high quality balloon makes when it’s jumped on from a great height!

Sexey’s School, you were so brilliant!

If you need us to come back again, just give us a shout!
